Choosing the right location is one of the biggest factors in creating beautiful family photos. What backdrop tells your family story best? Big open fields, colorful urban streets, or playful creeks? We'll choose a location with your family style in mind.
My family style guide is easy to read with great tips to help you prepare for the shoot. No need to stress! In addition, you'll have access to my Online Style Assistant, Style & Select. Plus you can always text me photos of your outfits if you want me to weigh in & share my thoughts.
I'm often asked how many images are included in the price. Although I can't say exactly, you can expect a minimum of 50 color images + black & whites for a total of at least 100 edited images. Delivery is through Pic-Time for easy access
& sharing.
Printed photos are a celebration of life! I believe in getting your photos off digital devices & into your hands & home. Your photo session comes with a photo credit to professional, high quality print labs

Family sessions are 45 minutes and are either indoor or outdoor at a location of your choice from my location guide. Outdoor locations take place the hour before sunset for optimal light.
Every family is different, and every season deserves to be remembered. Whether you're welcoming a new baby, gathering generations together, looking for a quick weekday session, or spending an evening on the lake, I offer photography experiences designed to fit your family's story.
Most family sessions take place during the hour before sunset when the light is soft and flattering. Morning sessions are also available and can be a wonderful option for young children.
After booking, you'll receive my Family Style Guide along with access to Style & Select, an online styling tool that makes coordinating outfits easy. I'm also happy to help if you'd like to text me outfit options before your session.
Children don't need to sit perfectly still for beautiful photos. My sessions are relaxed and playful, with gentle prompts that encourage natural interaction instead of forced smiles. Some of my favorite images happen in the in-between moments.
Austin has so many beautiful options, from open fields and limestone creeks to oak-lined trails and downtown architecture. Together we'll choose a location that best fits your family's personality and style.
You'll receive a minimum of 50 professionally edited color images plus matching black-and-white versions through an online gallery that's easy to download, share, and order prints from.
For spring and fall sessions, I recommend booking several months in advance since those seasons tend to fill the quickest. Summer and winter generally offer more flexibility.
If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll simply reschedule your session for the next available date.
Absolutely! Grandparents, pets, and other important family members are always welcome. If you're planning a larger group, an Extended Family Session may be the best fit.
