Once we’ve locked in your date, we’ll start with the location. It’s one of the most important parts of your session! You’ll get access to my location guide, full of options that offer a mix of variety (hello, epic backdrops!) and, of course, that gorgeous, natural light that makes your photos shine.

Senior portraits may be captured in various outdoor locations that feature natural settings or the urban cityscape. Whether you prefer the vibrant colors of downtown Austin or the gorgeous rural locations with big open fields & and unique creeks, Austin provides a variety of locations offering stunning backdrops. Most senior sessions take place in a single location, but 2 is possible if they are in close proximity.
My style guide is easily skimmable with great tips to help you prepare for the shoot. No need to stress! Plus you can always text me photos of your outfits if you want me to weigh in. Choose clothes that reflect who you are and that you feel confident in! I like to encourage my clients to bring 2-3 unique looks, complete with shoes, scarves, hats, sunglasses, and jewelry. Embrace your style & choose looks that reflect the real you.
I suggest having photos done late summer, early fall (post junior year) or sometime after the school year starts, but before the holiday season begins for senior photos. This way, you’ll have more than enough time to meet yearbook deadlines and use your senior photos for graduation announcements in the spring! Regardless of what time of year, reach out early to get on my schedule; fall & spring are my busiest seasons.
It takes me two weeks or less to deliver a gallery of at least 40 unique images to you plus black & whites. The downloadable digitals are delivered via Pic-Time. Included in your senior session is a print credit to high quality, professional print labs (who I use for our own photos). I am a big fan of getting photos off technology & into your hands. Printed photos celebrate the seasons of your beautiful life!

Senior sessions are 1-1.5 hours and are outdoor at a location of your choice from my location guide. Outdoor locations take place the hour before sunset for optimal light.
