Fresh 48 photography is all about documenting the precious moments that unfold in the first two days of your baby's life. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of preserving these fleeting moments—the tiny fingers, the soft sighs, the overwhelming rush of emotions that come with holding your baby in your arms for the very first time. It's a time of wonder, vulnerability, and boundless love, and my goal as your Fresh 48 photographer is to capture it all with authenticity and artistry.

My approach to Fresh 48 photography is unobtrusive and documentary-style, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the joy of these precious moments while I quietly capture the magic as it unfolds.
From the first flutter of tiny eyelashes to the gentle curve of your baby's lips as they drift off to sleep, every detail is a testament to the miracle of life and the incredible journey of parenthood. I hired Lindsay to do Fresh 48 and she was amazing! My son ended up spending the first five days of his life in the NICU and Lindsay was amazing at being flexible and finding a time to come do the photos in the NICU once things settled down a little bit and my son was healthy enough to have photos taken just before he was discharged. Not only that but she created beautiful images in the world’s most poorly lit little area of the NICU where my son was stationed. Perhaps even more importantly she came in to take the photos with a great positive energy and immediately made us feel comfortable even though we were in a stressful situation and had nurses hovering around us. She was amazing at capturing stunning shots and had creative ideas about how to get the best photos. She also was so good with my son in his individual photos taking care to make him comfortable and cozy. Finally I want to add that Lindsay’s turnaround for the completed photos was SO FAST!! All in all, it was a great experience and we will treasure our photos forever.
Excellent communication and flexibility from me. I understand that the birth of your baby can sometimes be chaotic. I am here to document this incredibly special time for you, not add stress! The atmosphere in the hospital during those first couple days is like nothing else; overwhelming joy and love for this new tiny infant. Your baby will change drastically during the first week of life. You’ll be so glad to have beautiful photos to look back on and remember those first days forever.
The session takes place any time during your hospital stay and will last about 40 minutes. I suggest texting me as soon as you head to the hospital so that we can plan an approximate time for your photoshoot and ensure we capture this uniquely special time.
The Fresh 48 is for immediate family, including siblings. This session does not include provided props, however if you wish to bring your own special outfits, blankets, and/or birth plates, please do! Ideally sessions are done during the day for use of natural light.
I'm often asked how many images are included in the price. Although I can't say exactly, you can expect a minimum of 40 color images + black & whites for a total of at least 80 edited images. Delivery is through

Printed photos are a celebration of life! I believe in getting your photos off digital devices & into your hands & home. Your photo session comes with a photo credit to high quality, professional print labs, linked to your gallery for easy ordering.
