Small Sessions are the perfect middle ground—think of them as the Goldilocks of photo shoots. Not too long, not too short—just the right amount of time to get gorgeous images without the stress of a full session or the rush of a mini session. Available from January to June only, these 30-minute sessions are ideal for maternity, seniors , family, and newborn photos . *Note, small sessions are not available for branding, headshots,
on the lake, and extended family photos. Newborn small sessions are limited to small session locations (details below) and may NOT be done at your home. Small session newborns are outdoor or at the Lumen Room Studio.

Small Sessions include 5 of my favorite location choices: Brushy Creek, Woodlands Park, Bull Creek, Commons Ford Ranch, & the Lumen Room. These provide the perfect backdrop to highlight the connection & love of your family...bathed in beautiful light of course!
My style guide is easy to read with great tips to help you prepare for the shoot. No need to stress! In addition, you'll have access to my Online Style Assistant, Style & Select. Plus you can always text me photos of your outfits if you want me to weigh in & share my thoughts.
Small Sessions include 20 high-res digital images of your choice. Your gallery will showcase both color & black & white for you to choose from. Additional digital images as well as prints will be available for purchase. Delivery is via Pic-Time for easy sharing.

They aren't a full session, or a mini session. They are a hybrid in-between and are only available January-June. They offer more time than a mini session, plus more flexibility with dates & locations, but aren't as expensive as a full session! Available for family, newborn, maternity, & seniors. Full payment due at the time of booking.
Here’s how it works: Believe it or not, in just 30 minutes, we’ll capture it all—playful moments, posed shots, and everything in between. I’ll get photos of the whole family together, individual portraits, siblings together, kids with each parent, and even a sweet moment of just you two. It’s quick, fun, and leaves nothing out!
Then, in two weeks (or less!), I’ll send you an email with a link to a slideshow featuring all your fully-edited images. Your gallery will include both color and black-and-white versions of each image for you to preview. However, when it comes to your 20 digital downloads, each selection counts as one download—so if you choose the color version, the black-and-white version would need to be selected separately to count as one of your 20. I leave the selection of photos up to you - this way, you can customize your downloads to match your style perfectly!
Take your time enjoying the slideshow (pro tip - make it an event and bring the whole fam into view it...including popcorn is an added bonus 🍿), then pick the collection that best fits your budget and photography needs. Just a little heads up—individual photos aren’t available a-la-carte. To access additional images, you’ll need to upgrade to either Set II or Set III.
Once you’ve chosen your collection, you’ll have two weeks to finalize your selections. Whether you’re downloading digital files, ordering beautiful prints to display, or a mix of both, it’s all about creating the perfect keepsakes for your memories.
And just like that, your cherished moments will be ready to enjoy for years to come! ✨
When booking Small Sessions, please note that these are shorter sessions at a pre-set location, date, and time.
To make the most of our time together, I recommend arriving 5 minutes early to ensure everyone is ready and comfortable. 😊
