Bull Creek brings limestone textures, shallow water, and rugged beauty all in one place. If you love the idea of water play, sun-dappled trees, and natural surroundings, this is a fantastic spot for adventurous spirits and authentic smiles. The wooden fences and winding paths provide beautiful leading lines that add depth and charm to your photos without feeling overly posed.
➕ PROS: variety of backdrops within a short walking distance, playful water element, beautiful light, & easy parking.
➖ CONS: can get crowded with hikers, people enjoying the water, & photographers - but there is enough space to work around it.
🍂 seasonal info: luscious green end of march - mid november. dead in the winter months..
📍address: 6701 lakewood drive, austin tx 78731
Commons Ford offers a mix of tall wheat-like grasses, wide-open fields, and rustic barn textures. It feels like a little slice of Texas countryside, making it a beautiful and relaxed option for families who love open space and golden light.
➕ PROS: variety of backdrops within a short walking distance, beautiful light, & easy parking.
➖ CONS: none
🍂 seasonal info: luscious green march - october (this is approximate and depends on the rainfall during the year). turns golden wheat around november - february. both are pretty - just different looks.

Tucked into central Austin, Mayfield Park is charming, colorful, and full of personality. Think peacocks, cobblestone paths, old stone walls, and bright greenery. It’s ideal for those who want something whimsical and storybook-like without leaving the city.
➕ PROS: variety of backdrops within a short walking distance, pretty light plus a beautiful combination of nature with white buidlings, and stone structures.
➖ CONS: $60 fee to shoot here. can get busy in the fall. fish in the ponds can be distracting for young toddlers.
🍂 seasonal info: luscious green & pretty year round.
📍address: 3505 w 35th street austin tx 78703
For a modern, urban look, the Seaholm District delivers clean lines, cool architecture, and a city-meets-nature aesthetic. We’ll find sleek concrete backdrops, pops of greenery, and that Austin vibe—perfect if you're looking for something a little different than the typical park session.
➕ PROS: variety of backdrops within a short walking distance, the butterfly bridge, urban + nature mixed (but mostly urban), & easy parking. this location is best for a monring shoot.
➖ CONS: none
🍂 seasonal info: cool vibe all year.
📍address: 211 walter seaholm dr, austin tx 78703
Woodlands Park is a hidden gem with lush greenery, soft light, and natural elements like fallen trees and an inlet of the lake that add a quiet, peaceful vibe to your session. It’s especially great if you love nature but want to avoid a hike to get to the good stuff.
➕ PROS: unique variety of backdrops within a short walking distance, water element, beautiful light, never busy & easy parking.
➖ CONS: have to walk down a small hill.
🍂 seasonal info: luscious green end of march - mid november, then vibrant fall colored trees...after this (december - mid march) it is a little barren but still pretty.

Our family has worked with Lindsay for our photo sessions and we’ve really enjoyed our experience. Lindsay is very personable and pays attention to your preferences when planning the shoot. She’s so warm natured and my kids absolutely loved chatting with her. I really think this helped with keeping them engaged and they felt so comfortable. The quality of photography you receive with Lindsay is also amazing. Our family has had photographs with other photographers in the past and although they were great I’ve felt from the beginning in working with Lindsay that she’s very skilled, know’s exactly how to direct the shoot and the end product you receive is fantastic. Lindsay is also up front in disclosing pricing and options which I so appreciate
