I write this blog post on the morning after I found out my kids will be out of school (at least) until May 4th, due to “the Corona” as my 11 your old son calls it. During this unprecedented time, I find myself working to be as flexible and present as possible. Most days I even look at it as a gift. Prior to this, life truly felt like it was moving so fast I was barely hanging on. Now I am forced to just be with my family. Before I know it, my 3 kiddos will be off to college, so I’m soaking up these long days. Anyway, I’ve always had an appreciation for rolling with the punches. And I love it when my clients are open to this too.
Recently I was on a photo shoot with one of my favorite families. On the way out of the photo shoot I asked them to pull over for just one more photo. I’m sure they were so tired of taking photos at this point, but they obliged my request. The photos that resulted were some of my favorites from the evening!
And, of course I’m taking part in my bi-monthly blog circle! I just love collaborating with other photographers. I’m with a special group of photographer friends this week – we are linking to one another’s posts, so you can check out some inspiring work!
Oh and don’t forget to follow along the blog circle. There’s a group of four of us this month, and next up is my friend Fiona Saxton . Click the link to check out her blog post and stunning work: Woodhill Hall Wedding
